| The base which is Poplar Bark accentuates this work. The idea behind the base came from a Eucalyptus stump. The tree would have been a magnificent speciman had it not had to give way to power lines. I estimated the diameter of the stump to be close to 5 feet. Hopefully you viewers agree that the owl pair and the stump compliment one another. |
