| The leader of a carving group declared we were about to do a "smoothie". Except for her, we were inexperienced painters. We knew we'd have a challenge. We were dubious of the results. The product is a credit to our leader, Susan Rod, and proved to be of considerable value to the carvers. Thank you, Sue, for all your guidance, particularly with the brush. The sedges are basically wire. I like pumice texture and that is what is used to cover the wire. The flowers are wood. |
